Hi all, Bryan has the attached in his collection (more pics here: http://eldritchepistles.blogspot.co.uk/ ... attle.html). He's of the opinion that it's a 40k robot but it's very titan-like. Grame David seems to think it's a concept/prototype for a Warlord Titan but he's not certain. Anyone seen this before? cheers Steve

Comment from Andy Hoare on my FB page: "Trish reckons it's a mock up given how rough it is. The original Adeptus Titanicus names quite a few Titan variants which are actually just weapons swaps, such as the Nemesis, whereas the original intent was that these were to be entirely different Titan classes, but production realities limited them to the plastics. This is probably a prototype or concept for one of the classes that didn't make it into the box." |

Thanks for sharing the pictures, i'd assumed it would always be a mystery! One question, in the pictures on your site showing the top of the carapace, is it possible to tell if that hole been drilled in as a later modification, or was it part of the cast? If part of the cast i'm wondering if it is meant to have a top carapace weapon option or banner pole, as the hole on its own seems odd. |

Pretty certain it's part of the cast. |

i like the third titan in, all the weapons are underslung rather than two up two down. |

I've just had it confirmed that Bob Naismith sculpted it. Bob's comment: "I can help - I sculpted this at the dawn of RT. it was a style test that may have been destined for playetst pics - not sure about that though. definitely the first titan though" |

Yep ... it's like a prototype from the dawn of Epic. There are number of models like that, but not the exact thing floating around. Some even find their way to eBay ... but very, very rarely ... It's become like a Big Foot or Nessie photo ... You see a pic of it ... But What is it !!!!!!!?!??!? ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() |

Pretty ugly sculpting, but like someone said, probably just a rough mock up. |
