New unlisted stompa variant

Hi guys,

thought I'd share with you a discussion I've been having on the Collecting Citadel Miniatures yahoo group - seems like I have an unseen stompa variant:

Previously unlisted variant on the left, new unlisted variant on the right. Both have GW 90 under the bases.

Yeah I remember it from back when I played SM in the early 90s

The auction was for four stompas, 2 plastic and 2 of those, think it went for about 18 quid in the end....

I think I have one too, acquired years ago from eBay, can't remember how much I paid for it. I prefer it to the other one.

A painted one appeared in the White Dwarf a long time ago.
I tried to get one from mail order UK several times but they kept sending me the common one.
So I gave up. Nice to know it was more than the painted once off.

As mentioned, they do appear on eBay on occassions ... Keep your Scouts Out ...

I remember those. Didn't like them much, but belong to a handful of limited release epic stuff from back when AT was new.

There were heaps of the 1 on the left generally available. I just couldn't get the 1 on the right despite ringing GW UK mail order. Every time I tried I ending up with the same result- more of the 1 on the left !!
I have never seen the right 1 on ebay (worldwide ).
I have put it in with the MK0 warlord and the Ork walking tank - unattainable at a price that can be justified. Proves I am getting old , the passion has waned. LOL.

The primarch load would dwarf my humble horde. I need to align myself with Legion 4. He is always unearthing another treasure to behold. Then we might be in the race.
