How 'bout using MechWarrior Gnome Armour for Centurions? Three per base. Statistics could be like Terminators + Heavy Weapons (minus Rapid Fire), making a unit cost 24 points ... ![]() |

It just doesn't make sense to me in a world of Terminators, dreadnoughts and power armoured marines that one of the latter would mount a suit and go about his busines... Hi! Funny how things are. I love all things "roman", so I found them nice, over the top, but nice. ![]() Primarch |

A Space Marine in a Space Maine suit wearing another Space Marine suit. I guess I can see in some cases where they might be appropriate, but I will never buy them either. I pretend they dont exist. Its funny, with the fluff behind Space Marines, they seem rather weak in the game. The regular Space Marines should fight like Terminators, and the Terminators like Dreadnoughts. At least to me. |

I believe there was a project to stat 40k marines up as they should behave from the fluff rather than how they actually behave in the game.... I think the average 1500 point marine army normally contained about 5 models.... ![]() |

Yeah there was a great article in an old White Dwarf called something like Movie Marines or that sort of thing. It was actually pretty sweet |

GW's Centurions were their attempt to sell more minis ... I understand ... they are in business to make profit/$$$. They are models between standard SMs and Terminators ... not really needed ... but if one wants to spend the $$$ and add'm to your force, got for it ... |
