If you use the vehicle variant rules to make the Land Raider have Anti-Personnel, so in fact trading his 2AT for 2AP, does he then only cost 35 points instead of 45?

I think you've got the games mixed up. Epic 40k would be 30 points, but AT/AP is a Epic A statline.

Anti Tank and Anti Personel are also special rules for Epic40k, AP was on the expanded rules.

As far as I remember, the cost increase is only for AT so AP remains 35.

Seems logical. I'll go with those rules then.

ps: Vehicle variations are official rules for Epic 40,000 (3rd edition) from the Epic magazines indeed.
