Heyi am new to these site and havejust discovered epic A. Frommy first glance at themodels it seemsthey have dropped the variation in each unit eg a predeter could havemany different turrets and weapons that wouldnt change the way it behaved on the battle feild. I have also noticed that sum sides hardly contain any units such as chaos. I reallyloved epic 40000 and prefered it over the previous spacemarine and titan legions but still allowed me to use my imperator titan. could sum 1 give a breif idea of the major differences made to epic A cheers peace

E40k was a very abstract game, SM/TL had a lot of special rules. EA is sort of a combination of the two.
EA has separate weapon stats and initiative based alternative activation. Blast Markers were carried over form E40k but in a different form. There's also more special rules than E40k but not as many as with SM/TL. EA is more of a game of territory control if you play the Tournament Scenario.
