Very true Apoc.
From past experience, the price of the real thing will undoubtedly be out of reach for most especially if Primarch starts to bid !!!.

Hi!

Precisely the reason I don't bother with much of the old stuff. But then again I have a lot of it, including the the more updated (and better looking) mk0 metal weapons they never released.

Hi!

These on the primarchload thread.

Between the demise of epic 40k and the creation of E:A, GW mail order made available items that were not released during the AT and SM2 era. That included the psi-titan, SM metal dropship, eldar exodite dinoriders and these metal mk0 weapons.

They never advertised these much. I found out about them through contacts and thus picked up these. They look similar, but somewhat more refined than those original ones you have up.

Primarch- were those weapons for the MK0 warlord or the "milkfloat" warlord?

Hi!

I've never given that idea much thought.

However, they do not seem to fit or be the same style as the milkfloat weapons. Those seem to be slightly larger and more detailed than these. So I lean towards that they were intended for the beetlebacks, since they are comparable in scale and detail to those.

Hi!

Sent you an PM. :)

If they were intended for the milfloat then I can see why they weren't released. They can't compare with the detail and scale of the ones that were in the milkfloat boxed set.

These are nice, but their level of detail and size look like something GW produced much earlier.

The buzz saw arm is a much later weapon than the others. It was released with the metal heads and weapons for the plastic beetle back.

Hi!

I agree with this. If you look at the buzz saw and the rest, the buzz saw arm is clearly different. In style and detail. It looks as if shouldn't belong to the group.
