I need to find decent storage as well. I am using stackable plastic bins.

Primarch,
The Dollar Store craft boxes are a little smaller than the Plano boxes, but the plastic is just as tough, but more Opaque. The inside dividers are cast so they are not removable. The clasp is just a nudge so it will eventually break, but then I'll just rubber band the case with one or two thick newspaper rubber bands.
The best thing about them is the price. At a dollar USD a piece, I can get what... two or three for one of the Plano tackle boxes. It's much more storage space for my money. I've taken to using extra foam (from mini packages, other guys' cases that they were going to throw away at the hobby shop, and the like) to cushion what's in my storage containers.
Shalom, Maksim-Smelchak.

Hi!
That sounds like an excellent alternative. I dont mind the clasp being flimsy, since the Plano ones aren't much better. At a dollar a piece, you can get about 4 for one Plano, so the storage available is more.
There are no such stores in PR, are they online?

Well reading about your 500,000 point armies I am in awe. However, as small as this is I need to share. My small 9,000 point force just went up by over an additional 18,000 points. Triple in one day. I know it is a long way away from your guys level, but I am still a proud owner of a fine army

P.S. By the way, I would love to hear painted vs unpainted ratios. Would be interesting.

How?
Did you buy some new minis second-hand?
Or did you just go on a painting rampage?
Cheers, Chris.

Hi! Painting ratios:
Around the time I made the inventory article, the amount of painted versus non-painted was quite high, I'd saw 80% maybe more. Once I added the slann/necron army and made several large purchases, it gone down to 65%-70%. Its going down even considerablly more though, by summer, it will be close to 50%. I'm trying to commision painters at a decent pace so as not to fall below 50%.
I think once you have pass a certain amount, painting is more for the collection aspect than gaming. I have sufficient painted models to play even larger scale games (40000 per side) all painted, so I'm less motivated to paint as quickly for the next 500k points.
Has anyone else entertainted comissioning painters?

That is something I have been thinking about. Considering how many things I have received in the past couple of months. I am just looking for someone to do grunt work. The base colors, a drybrush and an inkwash. Just bulk. Can't find anyone. Plus, alot of 'em are outragously expensive.

Hi!
True, some charge too much, but there are those who charge a decent amount for a good job. I found Pictors Studios to be pretty good. There's Tuffskull too, you should drop him a line.

OK, first to answer those who want to know: I bought a used, painted army. This army included more stuff then I owned so thus the major change in points.
I did not include unpainted in my numbers. Before this buy my ratio was about 40% painted and now I am well above 75% of my stuff is painted.
I do not mind buying painted stuff nor do I mind paying someone else to paint stuff for me. I am one of those who do not like to paint as much as I like to play.
Anyway, once I paint all I have at this moment I still will not break 75,000 so I guess I will not be a threat to Primarch.

I love painting and modeling, more so than gaming really, but what with playing BFG more and more, I'm kinda swinging round though!

Ok, since my last purchase, my Epic and BFG are as follows
BFG
- 80% Assembled - 20% in boxes ----------------- - 75% of above Painted
Epic
- 10% Assembled - 90% Unassembled: loads of sprues in boxes. ----------------- - 0% painted (I have the paint but have never been bothered to paint them until now, as I am starting to play Epic-A)
This is my little confession!
Cheers, Chris.

My main problem is I need to RE-paint all of my existing stuff. Which is going to be a major pain in the you know what. I need to find a relatively inexpensive way to remove the paint from my plastics. I just got a compressor for my airbrush so, that should help speed things up a little.
