According to the rules published in Firepower and White Dwarf, there are options for the Dark Angels special units. I am putting together an expeditionary force of a few detachments that will consist of a battle company cross attached with some Deathwing and Ravenwing as allies for my IG. According to the rules, Ravenwing can go on "special" orders for a special dodge bonus during the firing phase that will give them a +1 bonus to armor but half their firepower.
I was thinking of putting together two smaller units of 6 assault bikes, 2-3 attack bikes and a few landspeeders with maybe a special detachment leader or a psychic. Their role would be primarily to firefight and seize objectives/put pressure on the enemy. I think against most enemies this would work but against the Eldar I would lump it into one big detachment to parry deep strikes by Gravtanks and Jetbikes.

Yep. There were four issues before they introduced the Adeptus Titanicus II rules in Epic 40k Magazine and started doing parallel development that eventually became EA.

Yes that is what I thought, I have all those FP Mags & WDs. But we still use the SM1 organization charts/rules[we still think these were the best] with a [very] little of SM2 mixed and others ...

Sounds like a plan! The special orders are really best for sneaking into position for a firefight without taking too many casualties from shooting first. If you aren't going to be close enough for a firefight with a normal move, however, you'll probably need to use the Assault order instead.
