Hi guys.
I`m from germany and a member of the german Epic Board "Epic-battles.de" . BlackLegion, an active german member here on TC, told us that the TC is starting a new "competition" for this ones who want to start a new army.
And here i am . I thought a lot of, if i lead to continue my existing armys like the SM or Guard. But the Tau were everytime a interesting army for me. So i saw here the chance to start them.

At first i needed a colour scheme. And i had one for all the years in my eyes.

It has a future industrial look. Perfect for the Tau who wants to fight in citys and industrial districts.
The Rifle shows were the cadre comes from. Tau. The Best of the Best (patriotic music behind )

I startet this armybuild a few days ago on my german board.
Today i made my first Tetra formation ready for gaming. The bases were designed and i only fixed the models at first on the base. Tomorrow i will prime the complete formation, to make them ready for painting...

So lets get the project started......

Excuse me for great grammatical mistakes that i wrote or will write. I have only shool english and the "GOD" translator from google. Perhaps with the time my english will even getting better......

Fantastic color scheme! i can't wait to see your army painted, or what you plan to do with your vehicle paint.

I don't know about anyone else, but I would love a tutorial 'how to' on those bases. I have realised that my current porr efforts are no longer simply good enough.

You will be amazed how simpel it is to create this Bases....

This evening i can show at first what i all use...

It will need to be simple if I am going to do it. I am a simple guy. I look forward to this, thanks. Perhaps a 'basing tutorial thread' would be good to have pinned in the terrain or 6mm boards, that everyone can pitch in and offer suggestions?

Here are the things that i use for....

Normal dekosand
Vallejo lavasand
Different parts like epicruins, isolations for the pipes, Tau weapons for buildings and other stuff from my bitzbox.
Bases from renerda

First model is ready.

Nice work on such a small model. The orange really sets it off.
