Congrats on your first post! Those figures are looking great, especially some of that free hand work you've done. As for the colors, the little bit of blue you have on cockpits is looking nice. You could keep with that idea. But if you wanted to keep that just for glass I would suggest a deep green or a red. Others more experienced than I may disagree though |

Really nice! Didn't realise that Black Guardians could take Vypers - extra firepower is always good. D. |

Thanks for the comments.. The lightning effects got started while I was working on the Falcons.. They just looked too plain with the odd panel painted white and needed some jazzing up. The Scorpion came last and has the best lightning effects so far. I have seen an orangey red used for weapons before, and might go that route for a contrasting color. They need a little PUNCH, and the white weapons are just not doing it. This is about 1k worth of painted figures so far. For Feb a warhost of guardians and some aspect warriors are in order. |

You're off to a flying start with this force! I love a well painted ulthwe force and yours definitely falls into that category I think a few splashes of red would set off your colour scheme really well, I'd suggest going for an orangey red for warmth, if you picked out some of the gems or weapons in red it would be a great accent colour.... that said I think ice blue gems look great with ulthwe colours too.... |

A great looking force so far, I may look at detailing my Ulthwe force like that. I went a burnished gold on the weapons to make them stand out a little. But the patterns really make the force stand out. |

WOW!!! I love these. I would love to have a force that looks like that, I just don't know if I have the skill or patience to pull it off. Great stuff. |

Coming along great! I missed this the first time, but I'm a huge fan of the trim you put on the wave Serpents. |
