Hey everyone,
Haven't been active much on these boards since E:A was a new thing, but my love for Epic is evergreen. As the owner of IG, Marine, and Mechanicus armies I decided it was time to paint something alien for a change.
My monthly goals are going to be (loosely) based around completing 1 large-ish or 2 smallish entries from the E:A Ghazghkull list each calendar month. Ideally, I'd complete at least 10 units each month. This is a fairly modest goal but I'm doing a fair bit of converting and plan on taking my time with the painting.
Without further ado, my completed offering July is a normal-strength Goff boyz mob. Here's a group shot--the picture quality is not the best but I hope to improve with practice.

Six Goff Boyz units. All but one of the big shootaz were converted. I used BFG ship aerials to make the new barrels for the old heavy weapons, and used a couple of Lootaz with cut-down/replaced barrels as well. you can catch a glimpse of a couple of converted Wildboyz standing in as Nobz on the two closest stands.

Closeup of the two Boyz units with the Nobz. The ammo feed/hopper on the left big shoota was cut from a soda bottle cap (the ribbed plastic kind).

Grotz. Notice the influence of the notorious Red Gobbo has infected one unit. Actually he was an old-style Gretchin model whose blunderbuss was missing, so I replaced it with a banner pole.

Da Nobz! I took Jervis' advice and made one stand a Warboss. He's converted from an Ogryn with some greenstuff and plasticard enhancements. Most the other Nobz have had arms repositioned and a couple have weapon swaps. Once again BFG ship aerials are perfect for bodging together big Orky gunz.

Another view of the Warboss stand. The bull's (grox?) head on the standard is cut from plasticard. The Nob on the left has gotten hold of a chainaxe choppa somewhere!

Da wheelz! I decided to go with 3 battlewagonz and 2 gunwagonz (one with Oddboy upgrade). In my mind, anything with a large central turret is a GW and BWs have a smaller offset turret and some kind of crew/passenger compartment. In general, that is... they are Orks after all.
I left two of the tanks "stock"--I plan on having at least a couple of unmodified models in each formation to contrast against the conversion and I suppose out of a sense of history...

Converted battlewagon. This uses a part from the old IG vehicle sprue as the crew cabin, plus a lot of plasticard work.

This battlewagon had a cartoony bull's head added using hooks from the Chaos vehicle sprue and other random bitz.

A second view of the bull-headed battlewagon. The exhaust is the barrel of a Knight Paladin battlecannon and I can't remember where I got the tower-style big shoota turret...

Gunwagon with Oddboy upgrade, in this case a Soopagun.

Another angle of the upgraded Gunwagon showing the Mek making some last minute repairs to his creation. The Soopagun was made using an IG vehicle heavy flamer and the barrel of an IG grenade launcher. The magazine is from a Chaos Space Marine bolter. The turret is from a Dark Future weapons sprue.

That's my entry for July. Hope you enjoyed looking at 'em as much as I have painting 'em.
