While I have a mish-mash collection of chaos marines I use with Black Legion rules, but a while (quite a while actually) back I decided to run with Iron warriors. Currently working on (filing) raptors. |

Yeah, I thought the Iron Warriors were cool after reading a novel about em some years ago. Painting all the hazard stripes is a bit of a chore though. Love the look of yours Onyx, inspiring work :-) Now to figure out how to take decent pictures with the mediocre cameras I have. |

Macro and the Sharpen More function in Photoshop are your friend also a nice contrasty background can help. Coloured Card A4 document folders are excellent for it. |

Just realised that IW have no daemons, lol. Anyway I sort of need to plan which units this army needs and I am going to paint. So what have I got painted already? - 8 predators - 4 land raiders - 10 havocs - 2 death wheels - 4 dreadnaughts - 6 rhinos - 6 terminators - 2 obliterators - 3 hellblades - 2 helltalons - devastation - despoiler 2 x 5 havocs = 420 pts 3 oblits (I already have 2) = 3/5 * 425 = 255 pts 2x decimators = 450 pts 3 vindi (already have 3) = 125 pts 4 defilers = 275 pts 10 marines + 2 marines with lords for two companies warsmith 1 Dreadnaught Still at five hundred points per month this means I will finish this in about five months so I'll have to move on to something else after that. - |
