Here's my other war engine, the Chaos Altar. The covens on this world prayed to the evil Chaos gods at the mountainside... so when they went to war, they took the mountainside with them!

I'm not sure how much more I'll be able to finish with the holidays so close now, so I'll probably call this the end of my 2013 ToEG.

Can't wait to start the next one!

Hi Blip, that's the Britannia Lysander Land Ship. Comes with some other great bits too. (I used the cannon as an objective.)

I thought the Altar was a pretty cool upgrade at 150 points, so I have another Lysander on the way for conversion...

I've been working on some easy stuff until the new year arrives--scenery!

Here's my first design for a 3D-printed Gothic building. Unlike the buildings I've printed before, this one has a nice flat roof for infantry to stand on.

If anyone's interested in using the model, I'll upload to thingiverse for download. I did check out Shapeways as well, but the size of this thing makes it pretty expensive.

Hi, sorry to resurrect this thread, but I noticed at the end of page 7 you have cultists with pointy hats leading your guardsmen. Where can you get those cultists? They look like the old metal 28mm ones you used to be able to get that I really liked the look of. They'd really suit an army I'm planning.

Hi bertnernie,

The ones I used were snipped from a plastic Chaos sprue. I'm not sure where the sprue was first available, but it had everything from cultists to daemons to chaos space marines on it. I have't seen them on eBay much, but hope this helps you in your search.

Also, I think I read that Onslaught may be making some cultist models, so might be worth keeping your eye on that company as well.

It's the Epic 40k sprue when I was doing Chaos it was cheaper to buy direct from GW than to use Ebay for it.
