Hi all, I started a week early with my project - a "no shenanigans" (i.e. ground pounding) Marine army. A couple of good weeks of motivated painting have about 3000 points worth of models done. Pictures on my blog; http://than-aleaiactaest.blogspot.co.nz/ Since that last post I have also finished a Whirlwind battery, a Terminator detachment, 3 Land Raiders (currently trying to acquire a 4th of the right style), and a Dreadnought. They have their first game tomorrow afternoon, although with unpainted bikes unfortunately, since the models I want to use as bikes (6mm Thunderwolf Cavalry) will be a while away. |

Epic - NetEA 2012 Codex Astartes list. So far I have done; 2 Tac Detachments 2 Dev Deachments 1 Land Speeder Detachment 1 Scout Detachment 1 Whirlwind Detachment 1 Terminator Detachment ... plus a few upgrade units (Hunters, Dreadnoughts, etc.) so that's around 2000 points of pure marine units. To get to the 3000 pt figure above I was counting things like Warlord/Thunderbolts, which I can use with multiple armies. |
