Worst part was the painting comp was at my local GW, so it SHOULD have been locked in a display cabinet. They just gave me a shrug when I asked for it back. Luckily my mate at the time worked for GW, happened to be doing some cover for that store and saw it come in for a sunday beginners game, in an almost unrecognisable state as the red had been painted over (so instead of red-black fade) with straight blood red, and the black trim had been painted over in straight from the pot gold. Originally it was striding through a barbed wire fence, and all of that had been ripped off. It was only the grey shade world eaters logo on the front (an unusual colouring) that proved it was mine. Didn't kick his ass as he claimed he got it off a mate, and I couldn't prove otherwise That put me off painting for almost a year. |

Ok so nearly halfway through month 1, and here's the first part of mine: ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() This would of course be a feral titan (275pts). Haven't descided what to paint for the other 225pts yet, might be some raptors, or maybe the other feral. |

It looks really good i like the added effect of the chains/cables hanging from it. How do you paint your red, i will be starting a red army soon and i really like how you muted the red so it wasn't overwhelmingly bright. Blind- |

Blind- Cheers, I wanted something to add a bit of bulk to it, since warhounds are rather gangly and slim, so I've ended up with either some kind of living weapon chains/it's broken loose from where it's been tied down. The red is so simple as to be untrue: It's mechrite red, and then badab black dumped ontop of it straight from the pot. This dulls it right down, and pools nicely making it look scorched/blackened (a nice look for chaos/orks). the highlighting is then straight blood red to bring a bit of colour back into it, with orange spot highlighting. |

Ultra critical but I think that flamer needs a hole drilled in the muzzle... Great work though. |
