Okay. The second Skyray is ready. For this month i have already 450pts finished....
At least now lets get the third one and after this i will look what i start next for my tau

These are beautiful, man. I'd love to play a game against such a well painted army. The basing works great with the model, and I'm a fan of the great use of the orange spot color. Look forward to seeing more.

Skyrays came out VERY nicely. Love the orange contrast - and the grass on the bases too - to the grey.

Seriously though how can you cover those fantastic bases with miniatures, you should just move empty base's around in my opinion!

Yeah. For my list i need 2 formations. For their points they are brutal and irreplaceable in a Tau army.

Thanks for all, that you like my bases. But i must spend some more work in them. The cloak water need some gloss and the red ruins are to bright in my eyes.... But its still work for 5 minutes :D

Overall i need 1,5 hours to paint them....

Fantastic bases. I agree that the red bricks are a bit too bright, but do not forget that at 6mm, contrast is your friend.

The pic is to bright. In real it looks like red gore and not bloodred....

But i wanted to wash it later wirh DevMud too.... ;)

Great scheme, super eye for color combinations. Lots of brush strokes though, think about thinning the paint. Looks great overall nice job.
