I know your problem
I discovered, that painting mostly one army till you be brassed of
then paint mainly another ,
is for me the best way to keep me motivated

Well just added another 2 companies to my tally (now a mighty 24 companies of imperial/tech gaurd) a rocket company and a stormhammer company.


I have added a flag to command vehicle



did the base coat with a black wash then highlighted with the base coat which worked pretty well. especially keeping even strokes with the black wash.

Well back to painting.

i get a bit crazy with my squats.. if possible,, i drill out the barrel holes to make them appear a bit more real than just painting the tops of the guns black. I really need to post pics of my things here.

Been busy building a campaign. But have completed a tactical, assault and a beastman company for my imperial gaurd. Also had to do laborious tidy up of all my models as baby due in few months. Although currently putting together 2 bike companys and a rough rider company. Not great picture as once done them had to tidy them away

Well expecting baby soon so been caught up in other things, have couple companies of bikers and another rough rider company started. Hope to complete soon. Will maybe paint my Hellbore and go to town on it with a nice base for it.

Yeah, you're not going to have much, if any, hobby time for awhile. Sorry about that.

Well after the birth of my baby daughter in August have aquired and painted a warlord battlegroup and an imperial bike company. One good thing is that i have time to sort my armies out ready for a grand campaign with my mate (300k point each to deploy)

Nice- impressively large painted army. Always good to see a complete army TO&E.

of the top of my head i have this left

squat cyclops, squat colossus, rough rider company, 2 x rough rider detachments, ig heavy company, leman russ company, hellbore, 2 x det termites, ig bike company, reaver titan, 2 x tech gaurd heavy platoons, titan def company. 4 demons and a whole chaos army. various marine troops too.
