:D Be prepared to have uneven shapes across the entire army :D

But other than that it's just a sort of + shape but with a couple of curves on the vertical | and bottom left quadrant. I then just fill out the head section by making it thicker. I try to get the very top of the | to hook over slightly like the ear. It doesn't alway come off right however :( As you can see there's wild variance in all the shoulder pads.

Right, so I've failed part 1 as I didn't get the Heroes painted up for my bikes. TBH I had a small delay as I had to get hold of a couple of spare bikes, so I have a small excuse :D They should be done this week with luck.

Next 500 up is a Long Fangs pack and a Thunderhawk. I have all these miniatures so no excuses!! :D

Here's my latest and only (slackers' R' us!) painting effort. I truly love the basic marine sergeant mini - it's bloody versatile! :D I wish more of the marine range had actual faces rather than just helmets. Looking at him up close in the pics I think he looks a little dwarf-like unfortunately. In RL he looks like a Long Fang - promise! :D

That'd be because GW decided that all Epic models should have heads that are at least 1/3rd of their total height. :)

Exceptionally good painting, by the way.

That sergeant is a favourite of mine too, and I suspect of a lot of people.

You can convert it nicely, change his position, swap weapon, make a dead marine/casualty of him, crucify him... Very rich potential indeed.

And your long Fang definitely look very very good. Details are crisp, very neat painting, this army is going to be gorgeous.
