You could almost paint on the door join neetly.

I am a fan of any sybols on the top having the door join, as in your left option.

Ok. First month's batch done. I'm leaving the bases simple for the time being. I still haven't quite decided what to do there, so I think I'll just revisit them once all the infantry is done.

sigh, so beautiful and inspiring but until some bright spark invents a bionic eye and hand I'll never be able to get even close to that!

Sure. Basically the same as with the tacticals: A few weapon variants: Chain axes based on Chaos Beastman axes. And some respositioned arms. Simply cut away part of the shoulder pad to make it look like the marine has raised his arm. Make a new arm from a piece of plastic rod and glue the original hand and weapon on the end of the rod. Surprisingly easy conversion actually, and a simple way of adding a bit of variation to your assault marine stands. :)

Just a very quick WIP shot. I need to get this month's work done fairly early. Tom should recieve the new EW MBT turrets any day now and send them to me so they can be painted up and readied for the online store.
