Quick update - finished 3 Wraithlords that I started a while ago but got distracted from finishing. Also assembled a Guardian formation and sprayed it along with some Nightwings. Next month's target will be the Nightwings plus a second Vampire Raider.

Looking very clean and neat CheesyRobMan. Echo comments above that you have really done the old models justice.

keep them coming!

OK OK! :)

It's May and I'm back in the saddle. April was super busy (sort of a new job, sort of not, but lots of retraining and time away from home) but things are calming down now.

This month's target is another Vampire Raider (because air-mobile Wraithguard are hilarious, and opponents' tears taste sweet), and a Nightwing formation. So far I've mounted them with magnets onto flying stands, sprayed them white and done a wash of Casandora Yellow (ingredients: 100% win).

Also the webwayeBay has been supplying reinforcements in the form of some Aspect warriors and Rangers:

They'll be included in future targets. From left to right: Dire Avengers, Striking Scorpions, Fire Dragons, Rangers, Swooping Hawks. I'll try and work the Craftworld colours into the Aspect schemes somehow.

Target complete for May :)

Image

A second Vampire Raider, and 3 Nightwings. I may work on some bonus stuff but I do have other projects that are taking up my painting time! Army pics will follow - I'm on early shift tomorrow so off to bed now.

First post updated.

June's target is a third Wraithguard formation, Wraithlords, and a Fire Dragon detachment with an Exarch, for 725pts. Models are assembled and sprayed white thus far.

Great group shot, I agree with elsemore, the old wave serpents work very well.
