Good looking yellow! A friend of mine could not bring himself to paint yellow marines after seeing a diorama in which a brother was being punished for cowardice. He was painted yellow as part of that punishment. While yellow marines still amuse me for some reason, yours are superbly well done!

(I was looking for a pic of that diorama on the interweb, but had zero success. Does any other old geezers remember what I am talking about?)

couldn't face more yellow marines tonight, got the eldar out instead, opened up a nice vintage pack of E40K era nightspinners only to find one of the gun mounts missing..... >:( grrr and it's not like I can blag some new ones from GW now......

I like the mud weathering/grey base honestly. Just looks like the have been from off road and on to the highway!

I have no knowledge of eldar models, what sort of part is the mount? If you need just the one could you insta mold one if you have some with the correct part?

I could have done, but couldn't be bothered with the faff of making a mould, it would have been easy enough to scratchbuild a replacement, but it seems someone has one spare they have generously offered me!

thanks! :) I wasn't sure how much detail to add, then I figured most space marine dreads are embellished to the point of impracticality, so I just went for it.... needs a few more purity seals though, the thing shouldn't be able to move or see for purity seals.... ;)
