I want it, I want it, I want it! I can wait two weeks, no problem.

Down to the last model... I give you THE ORB!

I suck at sculpting so I had to creatively make due with various Otterware surplus parts. That has the side benefit of tying in nicely with the rest of the army though (almost all Otterware anyhow).

Blowing up non-Necron's I guess. It's just an Aeonic Orb Harvester Engine from the Necron list in Raider 2. I don't actually play the game (unfortunately). Just trying to have some of each of the models per list (and all the lists...).

PS: Question for some of the UK and Ozzie folks: I heard about "Marmite" on this forum (admittedly in the context of easily creating scratch mark weathering on vehicles). Just found a jar in a local store and bought out of curiousity. How does one eat this stuff? Tastes like a blend of paint thinner and chicken stock... Am I supposed to dilute or mix it with something???

It's a Coronal Mass Ejection in a box.

edit - The Orb, not the marmite.

Marmite is one of those "love it or hate it" foods - I love it but it does need to be used sparingly. It is very nice spread on toast - because I'm a culinary heretic I like to eat honey & Marmite sandwiches, it's like a sweet & sour sandwich. Spread it very thin, though - if you spread it like jam/jelly your head may implode.

Great work on the models! Reading stuff like this always makes me want to start new armies... :D

marmite is great on a cheese sandwich, or spread on toast, it's very strong so you need only a thin scraping..... I can't get enough of the stuff myself

Sane humans don't eat Marmite. It's evil in a tub.

To officially wrap up the project, here is an army shot on their display base.

Only the warbarque is missing as I am still waiting for the model from one of the talent casters over here...
