Now the Romans were mostly in jest, but what [i]are[\i] the restrictions on subject matter here? Should we open this up to any army scale games?

Surely that would defeat the point of it being a Tale of "Epic" Gamers, though?

It's a tough one, id be inclined to say no on historicals as the main theme unless they are used as a clear proxy for a 6mm scifi system (GHQ tanks etc). But, the 6mm painting section on taccom is now just '6mm' not '6mm sci fi', so maybe TOEG should go with the flow?

I also thought that 6mm was considered epic scale now, so who cares i like seeing mass quantities of painted mini's.

Agreed, sounds good ;D
as long as there is a sensible points/goal system in place to keep them progressing.

I'm in with this one:

I'll commit to paint 500pts of my Seige Guard per month, starting next month :-)

Id like to join in on this too!

Can i just clarify it doesnt have to be a completely new force? As for me its likely to be adding extra bits to my current Marine army alongside beginning work on my Titan Legion.

Hope this is ok.

Does not have to be an entirely new army as long as there is enough stuff left to do. Ill be working on some khorne that i started years ago – but i still have a distinct block of 3000+ points unpainted to use for TOEG, enough for an army on its own, let alone an add-on to the existing force.

I will sign up and commit to 500pts of Thousand sons/tzeentch CSM a month. I have been picking up the odd batch here and there for a while so lets see how things go. although this will probably mean my orks will be put on hold.

After my TOEG'11 Squats bogged down on the last mile, I need to do a project with more variety and cleaner models for 2012. I will have a stab at Eldar! Let's see how it goes.

cheers
Helge

I'd like to be in on this if I may.

I am only around my models during uni termtime, so can I commit to something like 500pts per month of term time to make up?

Planning on painting my combo Steel Legion/Baran/LatD guard & daemon figures.
