No worries, glad I could be helpful!

Looking forward to seeing that new scheme applied to some models. I think it is important to have a high contrast between the Rider and Mount though - whilst the Exodites may use and even appreciate their beasts, I doubt they would want to look too much like them. I suspect that Eldar attitudes would see them wanting to set themselves apart from their mounts, and they are knights too afterall, so bright colours are thematic. :)

I like the red more - the blue is a bit too subdued unless you go for a brighter shade.

I also think that highlighting in straight white will look better and have more impact on the table.

One thing that I find distracting is the base - I think you need a colour that is more beige and less yellow. Likewise, I think the static grass colour is too neon - maybe drybrush it with some Catachan Green and then Bleached Bone?

Heh, I'll leave the bases to you then! ;) I just think that too many colours can make models look messy and uncoordinated, which of course can be contributed to by the base. Bases are important, and often get overlooked when people consider colour schemes.

On that note, I think the light blue might look best if it matched the rider's sash. It keeps the colour count down, and stands out nicely.

I like the red best Elsmore. The cyan looks a bit too out of place.

On the bases, perhaps try hitting them with some Badab Black wash to dull down the yellow/brown a bit? They're nicely done otherwise.

Cheers for the input, guys. :) Going on holiday for a week now, but will splash some red paint around when I get back.

They look super! Deadlines are mere guidelines, at least that's what I tell myself! I'm pretty sure my 'nids supposed to be done for TOEG08 or 09!
