Maybe painting few turrets or side armour plates with other colour to bring more third colour to gunwagons. You have used blue well with gun pipes, but 2 or maybe 3 turrets and one or two side plates with blue in that whole group would change its looks a lot. Gun barrels could still be metal in turrets that you painted blue.
Dunno if cartoonish is what you are looking for but those changes c[sh]ould be considered. I think that it would make gunwagons more colourful and appealing that way.
