So I've started buying up stuff for my epic forces, and my orks currently consist of 4 boxes of E40k era orks and 9 gunwagons By my reckoning I have something approximating the following: (currently in the post so I'm not sure exactly...) 24 stands of boyz 12 stands of grots 4 stands of nobz 4 stand...

well I think I'm sold! I much prefer the FW to the SG model myself and it saves a few quid so I think I will be getting a couple

@GlynG I'm very interested in proxies if you want to point me in the right direction?

I have been assembling my epic forces for quite a while now largely based on the advice of others, something that I realised is that nobody recommends the reaver titan... not being very experienced with the game, I assume it's because it's something of a 'nowhere' choice? it's not as big and tough a...

yeah the difference being that they normally have Warhounds in stock although they don't advertise it on the site..... I think you might not have been direct enough with the guy... he also may have told you what he thought they had and not what they actually had.... I think it's worth asking for spe...

I thought it might be a nice idea to keep a thread of what Forgeworld say they have versus what they actually have.... I ordered 2 packs of warhounds last wednesday and they arrived yesterday, the guy on the phone said 'oh yeah we usually have some of those lying around' despite my being told otherw...

so I've managed to get myself a cheap deal on a large Imperial Guard army for E:A, thing is, it's mostly painted, not to my tastes either, and I'm wondering if the usual methods (pine sol, DOT4 brake fluid) are appropriate for removing paint from Resin miniatures? if not, can anyone suggest a suitab...

that's just it, on the same day I have the customer services manager telling me they have none in stock and that there won't be any for a good while, then I call and I'm told they 'usually have some'.....

I'm just curious why keep them 'secret'??

just ordered a couple of sets myself.... I wonder why they're so cagey about them..... is it because they clearly make a profit, yet GW doesn't want to encourge SG players... or is it because GW make their own (inferior) warhound model? any ideas? it's somewhat baffling to me..... oh and the guy who...

I emailed them enquiring about warhounds and the reply today said they were out of stock due to several mould quality issues requiring rework, they hope to get them back in stock but couldn't give a date when..... as I said in another thread, I'll call them later this week and see if someone else te...
