First I'd heard of the Ragnarok group. Where are they based out of curiosity?

Bit of a shame to introduce another set of rules and army list variants in my opinion as it unecesarily fragments a small community further, but on the other hand it good to hear about more Epic beng played out there.

Nearly 20 years for me too I guess, makes me feel old! The forum may be fairly quiet these days but Epic is still going stromg here and I play at several Epic tournaments around the UK most years. Those AT titans and knights are great to dual use for Epic as well and 3d printed allows for whole armi...

Fair enough. There are/were at least a handful of Epic Armageddon players in Finland if that helps? Some were talking about coming to a European epic team tournament back in 2017. Search the forum for the word 'Finland' and reach out and message a few of the Finish players and see if anyone is locat...

Ha, unlucky!

Such things can be a bit luck of the draw sometimes. To give an opposite examplle I did 7 damage to a Manta from Deathstrikes in my last tournament and my opponent was sad.

Whereabouts in the world are you? If you're also in the UK Epic Armageddon has players scattered about and 10 or tournaments / events each year and I would recommend them. I played lots of 2nd edition as a teenager and it was fun at the time but the current 4th edition Epic Armageddon is a way bette...

Great looking models! :)

You wouldn't include a commissar with Deathstrikes though? Odd. For me my Deathstrikes will always have one to try and keep the tactically valuable but fragile formation viable a little longer.

Glad you got the numbers!

I'm not going to make it this year in the end. I just don't have the money to at the moment - I spent nearly all my money going to a rave festival and then had 10 days off sick with no pay after I got back due to being unwell with Covid.

I didn't think marines with drop pods could go in Drop Pods in the larger game? Maybe it's a mistake? We've been using the lists some and they're ok but have mistakes and poor design choices here and there. I would expect regular marines to get a Deathwind attack as normal. They seem to have forgott...

Great looking terrain and bases kickstarter for Epic or AT, fully funded in the first hour it went up too. https://www.kickstarter.com/projects/1787010870/epic-heresy-bases-and-terrain-stls-for-3d-printing He's only currently got 25mm square Epic bases on there which is pretty limited. I've commente...

Any plans to complete the last of the Grudd range this year at all? Isn't it only a last few superheavies to design? I'm waiting till after there's a complete range to buy an army. I know Gregster's Lab has designed some models for these superheavies but I'm not that keen on his designs for them.

I'm planning on going too but need to buy tickets and accomodation closer to the time as I won't have money spare for a while. Might help to try and advertise the tournament on facebook ocasionally and encourage other regulars to go. Britcon is more of a commitment than most but hopefully we'll get ...

You could probably look up the Net-EA one and guess the stats are the same?

That should get fixed though.

I liked the older Medusa stats and the platform gun did have a different longer range fire mode in 40k so there was some justification but I can see the argument for simplicity and conformity. Shrug not my call. If you do go for the MW4+ version do remember to update the cost to be less though. The ...

Mostly looks good but some thoughts: I’d recommend a Gun Drone formation to go in the Tigersharks – it’s a great formation for the 100 points (particularly as it and also the Tigersharks can get crossfire on the turn they deploy) and helps boost you to higher activation numbers which helps Tau. I’ve...

For their earlier years after releasing their 30k lists the AU players just used the standard EpicA rules (though playing terrain fairly differently to the rest of the world by using true line of sight) but more recently they put out a rewrite of the EpicA rules with dozens of changes all over the p...
