If we had lost I would say Mea Culpa, but as it so happens... ::)

Thanks mate!

Played an awesome, 30 player war-game this week - no miniatures but LOTS of fun.
Thanks to captPiett for being part of the organising team.

Check out the action at my blog here:

I have a set of 1st ed and both expansions, and 2 copies of the 3rd edition (I got a second set cheaply off ebay)
Now I want to get the new sections from the recent 4th edition - just a few small bits though so not worth buying a whole new set unless its silly cheap

Thanks Dave - really great to see of those old models get back onto the table!

What I would really love to see are some updated rules for Genestealer Hybrids and...Chaos Marines!

That sounds good. What about the Chaplain and the Inquisitor?

Do you know what manufacturer the tiles are from?

Looked like a blast!

Wow- just realised I've been a member here for 12 years this month, and that was after we shifted from the old server. :spin

To be fair my presence has been rather sporadic in recent years.
I blame the military again (though to be fair that nicely sponsor's my gaming habit too! ::) )

That was my biggest issue with the pictured game though, the Marines didn't have a timer. The result was what seemed like ENDLESS deliberation, especially from the Grey Knights player. I finished my turns in a couple of minutes, working over half the board. That guy had us waiting for 10+ minutes e...

There was a neat 6 player Sh game at Adepticon this year : 4 Marines players trying to locate and extract an Inquisitor from a Hulk, defended by 2 Stealer players. Looks like a lot of fun in a game that went right down to the wire: http://www.forum.specialist-arms.com/index.php?topic=7081.0

Just water to let you know that a mate and I have started a new 'intermittent' project in 6mm - the English Civil War With us being separated by approx 10,000 miles this year is a research, acquisition and painting phase, so that we can get stuck into gaming when we are co-located again next year.
