Quote Makes me wonder, though, why FW can operate fairly sucessfully on its own, while SG could not. From what I understand, SG was probably profitable, but less profitable than the huge cash cows of WFB and WH40K. So the goal is to slowly strangle SG, and reaffect the resources. FW seems to have an... |

First, I agree that the absence of future printed supplements spells doom for EA and provides a very good insight at what GW intends for the game : pay lip service to an existing community with web "support" (when will we get at least a changelog for the LRBs ?) and try to sell a couple of models wi... |

Excellent idea for the site, I bookmarked it and will check its progress. Quote Don't be too concerned with the layout or page design at the moment, I'm planning to put each formation into it's own box to clean it up and make it a lot clearer. You may want to consider using a larger font, it's a bit... |

Quote (primarch @ 01 2005 Feb.,15:42)Hi! Hmmm..... I wonder if the price increases have anything to do with decreasing revenues that were posted for last year..... ...just a thought. Probably. And they think they can afford it because of their "Attract/Pressure/Discard" attitude toward their "mainst... |

Quote It's E-bay spiced up with a bit of Forge World from now on on my account. I think I'll also do a BFG order (finish my SM and Corsair Eldar armies, get a little Craftworld Eldar) with a few EA models (next batch of Eldars maybe, plus some character packs), and that's it (apart from orders at FW... |

The "good" news is that Eldar is in all likelihood the last army that will present any interest (new models) for old timers : Chaos and Nids will use the old models, and after that the bright people at GW Sales will wonder why EA isn't selling (perhaps because 0 promotion means no new gamers, and ol... |

I have troubles gluing the new (EA) Land Speeders... I use fast bonding epoxy (kind of GS that takes in a few minutes) : even if the resin does not hold, it gives me a much more fitting surface to glue afterward. |

Silly topic/poll : who got and who offered Games Workshop/Specialist Games/ForgeWorld stuff this Christmas season ? I got a batch of FW stuff from my wife (BFG Eldar Light Cruisers and a Grey Knights Strike Cruiser, Epic Taus (Tigersharks, Devilfishs, Crisis and Broadside suits, drones)), and offere... |

No "Count As" rule in WH40K ? When converting units in EA or basing them according to my own tastes, I find great comfort in the fact that I can still use them without problem thanks to the "Count As" rule... |
