That's true while Epic isn't growing significantly, otherwise SG shutting down is very bad news. I would like to see a thousand Epic players in every city (esp. Wellington  :_( ).

With a few exceptions, like Tyranid infantry, most everything is still swimming about on eBay.

But for how long? If SG goes, then it's going to be pretty hard attracting new players if they can't even get hold of a company of marines.

Here's a rather crappy pic of the APC turret. Basically it is just a plate with a hatch and gun. The plate is covered in small reactive armor plates and at the rear there's a small box for radio equipment.

Perfect squat transport!  :agree:

Actually there's an APC turret coming up that is exactly that: Just a small plate to cover the turet hole, and a pintle mounted gun. I'll whip up a shot of the resin prototypes tomorrow as I haven't got the production model at hand right now.

Yes my land train will certainly be larger.

What about turretless MBTs as squat transports? (less head room required!)

They are nice indeed, I will probably get a clan of the little Doozers   As for the Cyclops: I do have an old Stormhammer lying about somewhere, maybe the Colossus gets a reprieve   Also, I'm thinking of building a land train and some mega-cannons from scratch, shouldn't be too hard given ...

The Exodus Wars Khazari look great :agree: but wondering what else people use?

Also, has anyone tried converting a Colossus into a Cyclops? Madness? Sacrilege?

Conspiracy Theorem:

GW are preping the LZ for the launch of a new all-encompassing online 'community' site for all things GW.

One thing to note is that writing in Latex is similar to writing in raw HTML. You get the benefits of not having to manually position and style everything, however, it is not WYSIWYG and not many people know how to use it, however, it does produce very professional looking documents.

Latex has a powerful macro system that could be used for templating the army lists. For example, in the source document you would specify just the raw info: name, description, image filename, stats. The macro would then transform this into the appropriate markup (table, paragraph, img). The Latex re...

I use Latex (currently writing a thesis), ask me anything  :)

It has a steep learning curve, but the rewards are worth it.
