There used to be a list of original race to Tyranid construct..... Eldar - Zoanthrope Marines - Hive Guard I think Grabber-Slashers were Squig DNA. They kind of jumped forwards, and launched themselves at an enemy, grabbed their head in the large hand and swung the spike into the victims chest. Good...

Yeah, Zoats are old ambassadors for the Tyranids from Advanced Space Crusade. That's based on Zoats in Ian Watson's Space Marine novel. Before that, they were shock troops in the Rogue Trader rulebook. Ah yes. I had forgotten their RT appearance! I guess that the Genestealer Cult essentially took o...

Yeah, Zoats are old ambassadors for the Tyranids from Advanced Space Crusade. They are language experts, and so attempted to negotiate ahead of the Tyranids advance for...... reasons. The old rules had them completing their charge action even if they were killed, as momentum kept them going like a r...

I suspect its more about leaving their options open to see how the game takes off or not. It makes sense to leave certain things open for expansion, rather than close ever dead end and not give them room to return to Epic/expend AT if it has legs and really gets popular.

Thank you. Discord is not for everyone, and that's fine. It's an option, and wont replace the boards, or other avenues. It's just a nice 'instant chat' for those that want it. I have to admit that I have a bias against Facebook. I understand that its convenient and people are just always logged in t...

So, what happened? Well, there is good news and bad news. The good new...

Many thanks for your patience while this site was down recently. This was the first stage in updates and getting things organised and trying to upgrade and devote more time and attention to a few websites that I currently run. The next step is a pretty major update at the server level. For this, it ...

Phase one is almost complete. I am still waiting on the last two domains to be moved across to my new host. This site may be a little 'temperamental' over the next week or so, as phase two begins with a few essential server tasks to complete, updating systems and getting a full backup schedule final...

Battlescribe seems to have a LOT of different lists. Does anyone know where they are from? Are they all from here, in various states of development?

You could always ignore half of those steps and do the guys with cardboard, wood, plasticard or the like. There are plenty examples around, but that's always up to taste and buying them will be always faster, and if you like them, why not? I mostly find it more fun to convert than make from scratch...
