Thanks for the review - I was on the KS too, and got my fantasy boards (I can't remember what they called them!) - quite nice, and you're right about the texture. They did take long, but I'm regretting not having gotten the DZC boards too.

Wonder of wonders, the project has not stalled - athough I couldn't resist painting up (in a very simple scheme, which seemed towork) four of the Sunz of the Desert's enemies... and a single Spleenrippa from a previous project, which fits in with the Sunz. http://i78.photobucket.com/albums/j108/vanv...

Hey don't discount hand undercoating! I know it can be a pain but I use Vallejo surface primer and it does a great job. Haven't found it locally yet, and forsome reason I always hesitated ordering paint from abroad. Can't see why, actually, now that I think of it....! I know of several people who h...

Thanks Primarch, it's good to be back. I can't undercoat anything today as it's raining and windy, and I spray outside; but at least I dug up another slightly older model with a not-so-different scheme, so now there are 4 - the latest (or earliest, actually) being a Spleenrippa. How can they not be RED, I cry Heresy Welcome back V, even though I've only just got back meself! I thought it best to keep L4 happy - although I could have gone for a red planet to make it work for everyone ;D Since I have over 30 more to do, I'll have at least one in red...or at least part of one...
