Lovely stuff. How do you get the rust/dust look? Thanks guys. It's a very quick paint job: The yellow is a heavy drybrushed coat, so the black undercoat peaks through in places. I applied some very light drybrushing with boltgun metal, then applied a red wash. Once dry, I drybrushed again first wit... |

Nice to see you taking part yet again, and it's extra wonderful to see that nothing has changed, after all this time! Looking forward to the pics! And here you go - my Imperial force painted in extra-grubby style: Ordinatus Armageddon and speeders http://i78.photobucket.com/albums/j108/vanvlak/TOEG... |

Those pictures contain everything i look for in one of your threads V. What were those tall tower bits in their previous life? I've used a fountain head of similar shape, but seems less probable if you have 3 of 'em. Thanks Apoc, it IS nice to have pics of something weird after such a long absence.... |

Although Vanvlak sounds like a third rate WH Vampire Counts army character, it's actually the name I have one of my earliest characters in my Chaos forces, and it is actually based on the surname of the author of a textbook on materials science, Van Vlack. http://www.mse.engin.umich.edu/undergraduat... |

Dune - and Jodorowski's take would have been interesting, to say the least.
