Post April next year? In terms of things that are either totally done sculpting or will be done within the next month or two…6mm Elves from Martin Baker, definitely (they have been sculpted for ages). A rather large Renaissance expansion, redoing all of the pikemen to have larger pikes, completing p...

Sorry for the delay, I usually get notifications for new posts, I must have missed this one. Things are definitely better, I have the new workshop mostly set up, and I am caught up on orders which is great, although my fulfillment time is definitely a bit longer for certain things due to my work sch...

The more fun stuff: I am trialing a new digital sculptor now, so I have high hopes there. November was meant to see the release of the long awaited 6mm Bronze Age line, but the flood will likely delay that to December as a best guess. A Kickstarter for 3mm Dwarves and Goblins was in the works, but t...

The only update is that this has been a pretty shit year. The not so fun stuff: My work situation has worsened even since the summer. Theoretically things should be "better" in December, and hopefully not as crazy next year, but I will believe it when I see it. Probably the largest blow to...

@Malika That is exactly what I am talking about. Its like, hey, I can pay you a one-time fee for these $800 worth of models, but then I can't commission anything else for probably 4 months, and these models won't be released for another 8 months VS. just create a Patreon and get steady income and pe...

Sure, since you asked I just posted one. I needed an excuse to slack off from work tonight anyway.

On the 2020 thread I was asked to give a 2021 update. I had to think a bit about what to say in an update for this year. For now I can give a bit of a mini-update, no pun intended. It is hard to give a concise picture of what is going on with the business, the why’s and what not. It ends up covering...

So, I think my way of doing business does not mesh well with selling or licensing files, and is kind of a dying model. These days I think creators selling directly to folks is kind of the standard, at least for digital files. If I was a creator, then I would definitely do it though, but it just feel...

Thanks for the kind review. I have also heard generally good things about uniz zmud. I have been using Siraya Navy Grey, which has been working quite nicely. I will say that for some of the 6mm infantry I have printed using the Sonic Mini 4k, I am having a hard time distinguishing the prints from th...

Thanks guys, disheartened is a good word for it!
Just a tough time in general for everyone I guess, also feels like a time of great change in general from a wargaming perspective with the rise of Patreons, 3d printing, etc. Things will stabilize eventually. |

I definitely have plans for 6mm fantasy still. Way, way too many plans, totally unsupported by demand or reason. A number of things have caused delays on my end. My casting machine died, the fix was expensive. The whole Brexit thing and setting up the Etsy store, a nightmare. Son to be made worse in...

I'm not sure about the long-term longevity of the prints. I have seen some people echo your concern about prints weakening or getting brittle over time. I would think the primary issue would be if you left them in sunlight for months on end...but if you have them in a drawer or prime them, I don't s...

I definitely won't be able to match the detail of Excellent Miniatures, they are using some $10k Asiga machines I think. For the New Terra MBT specifically, sales look like: Year 1: 20 Year 2: 10 Year 3: 24 Year 4: 19 Which is actually fairly unusual, as the first year I typically sell the lion's sh...
