You've now changed it so that there's no space ships at all? That's an interesting one.

The profiles for the spaceships and drop pods are still in the summary- you may want to remove them to avoid confusion (unless they're not gone and I'm blind?).

I intend to play the Sautekh list sometime next year- I'm slowly building up an army. I like the current Sautekh portals more than the Oldcron ones- the blast marker for broken portals is a good idea, as otherwise the near-immortal portal vehicles are just too annoying. Similarly I don't like units ...

I don't have any list feedback, but just want to share this with any who don't know the Wraithknight's 40k options: They can take 2 single-shot (per turn) Wraithcannons with no inv. save (the current Epic model, mostly) Or a rapid-fire plasma cannon equivalent with an invulnerable save Or a decent c...

1430points. That is all eggs in one basket, is it not? And they are slow after the drop. And most probably have trouble against Space Marines, Eldar, Necrons, most Orcs…. In this example it does not really matter if the space ship is 150 or 200. So we might leave it to 150, don’t you think?
 I woul...

mhmm.. so devastation class cruiser is 150pts for black legion but should go up to 200pts in the ts list. I understand the issue with the drop, but i can take a black legion retinue with 4 cult marines of thousand sons and demonic pact for 450pts. giving it a base unit count of 12(!) with the abilt...

- autarch may be overpriced, it's 50 in the other eldar lists which have 2+ initiative and don't already have leader (so benefit more). 50 would be fine though given he's sat in a titan. In other Eldar lists the Autarch replaces an Exarch, which must be paid for- so it's a 75 point upgrade in total...

Also: when the Rubric rule was dropped, why was it dropped in its entirety? I can see why the inability to march is awkward and easily circumvented, background wise, by transports- but what about the single-move when broken? To me this seems an important mitigator to the main problem I have with thi...

I was recently comparing this list to the EpicUK one, and am curious about the differences between the Sorceror/ Cabal in the two lists. With no change in points the Sorceror seems to have had a very nice upgrade, both with the EA +1 MW mentioned above, and also through gaining RA (which the Cabal o...

That was insanely tough- the combination of such resilient infantry able to appear almost anywhere, which are fearless and will rally on a 4+, followed by a SR of 5 and able to summon daemons... you just can't catch a break (bad pun...). If I hadn't have been lucky to win initiative turn 2, the game...

That sounds good. One other quick detail- I would assume that something in base contact would count as being closer than the transported troops? For example, if I had two units, in contact with one transport each, and won the combat by two, I would assume that the 2 transports in base contact would ...

I agree with IJW that the apparent intended rules (from Neil) and the RAW don't match, so an FAQ is in order (or errata, not that there's much distinction). I notice we seem to have scared Dave off not long after he began to give the FAQ a crack- though he was of the opinion that the fearless transp...

With regards to splitting fire: I think one issue may be the ease of placing blast markers everywhere. Blast markers can be just as important in Epic as actual damage. Two options off the top of my head are: 1) A titan which splits fire does not place blast markers on units when firing at them (only...

The plasma tokens idea is an interesting one, but would it be too time consuming? In an all-Titan army the game is usually fast enough that that won't matter, but it may be an issue in a mixed titan/other units force. Also, how would the tokens work for the likes of Eldar Titans, where the shields d...

I assume people would do exactly the same when broken formations receive BMs in shooting? i.e. allocate to transport, then contents, then next transport etc? I agree, however it is handled for combat hack-downs should be exactly the same for blast marker hackdowns. My preferred way to play it is th...

Yes things in fearless transports would be protected, but it also sort of makes sense that they would be to me. Note that this wouldn't apply to broken formations who lose, which the rules already say are automatically destroyed - that happens regardless of how many points/hackdowns they lose by. S...
