Great googly-moogly! If this doesn't put to bed the "no detail, too small" argument for good, I don't know what will!

That's a lovely assembly there? Whence came those Mechs? I recognize the Quad as a modded Microworld one but the "heavy suits" are new to me!

The dropship scales superbly!

I'm for chunky, but just a little less so?

And to reiterate Legion 4, any idea of a release date?

Pretty workmanlike for 13 or 14, man, I have to say. Especially the SUs, which are pretty convincing.

It's certainly the most cost effective. Itemized cost for the entire Eskadra here is probably about $6US, including plastic and pumice grit for the bases. @Apocolocyntosis: I don't, actually, have any pictures of the whole set, and some parts have come and gone as my preferences for things like colo...

Been working on these guys for far too long so I finally sat down and finished them. They are the Kraków Winged Hussars, a unit of highly-trained Polish mercenaries, and like their namesakes, they are all-out, take-no-prisoners warfighters with a reputation for martial excellence throughout both Ear...

Ogre Miniatures is 1 tank = 1 tank, and 1 soldier = 1 squad. It's super easy to learn and play - almost TOO easy. For quick miniatures play it's hard to beat. I also am partial to Strike Legion Tactical and Dirtside II, especially the latter given its emphasis on morale and integrated combined arms....

If anything gets me into fantasy it'll be the Microworld line, I'll tell you.

Beautiful work! And as a shameless O8 booster, and 3mm scale booster generally, I'm glad to see someone new giving it a go! The sci Fi line is small at the moment, but still growing. He just released a new hover artillery vehicle to complement the pseudo-Slammers line he has going. And you simply ca...

Thanks! The high-rises, by the way (to answer a question nobody asked) are my own kitbashes. Just trying out some interesting shapes. All the buildings from the Dropzone Commander range are modular so you can do some interesting things with them. Full-on downtown city combat is kind of the 3mm scale...

The stock is 110lb smooth laser printer card, plain white. The scaling is 33% of the original size. I basically put the PDF into "Preview" on my Mac, and set it to print nine pages per sheet. I've also made up a base board to use. The seam in the pieces seems way more noticeable in the pho...

I don't bother sealing them or blacking out the edges, but those are both possible. The dark edge/light edge thing doesn't really bother me that much. As for the VTOL, it's a "Crow" dropship from Oddzial Osmy, via Picoarmor. It's in the process of painting for a group of Polish mercenaries...

Half an afternoon's work has provided a nice start for the burgeoning metropolis of Pico City. The city I'm aiming for is a dense urban area on a 2'x2' board, but this is a fine start. As you can see, they mass very nicely and give a fine cityscape. http://i1290.photobucket.com/albums/b532/mmoyen/IM...

A little something I'm cooking up while I'm stuck inside on a snowy day. The building is color-laser printed on 110lb cardstock, scaled down about 75% from the full-size buildings available in PDF from Hawk Wargames' Dropzone Commander line. As you can see, very effective, and plenty sturdy, and I'd...
