Agreed, I love Gothic architecture - and I wish people would build more of it nowadays...  :sigh:

I love these, and I also love the metal Rhinos too!

I used to have a whole regiment of IG painted up very similar to that (flat grey though -no camo- and coloured helmets RT-style for each platoon), and looking at your models on here washes me with waves of nostalgia; brilliant!  :agree:

They are certainly a good start!

However, I wonder if it would be easier to use some SM scouts as a base, and add SM Sergeant Power Fists to each. Each servitor can then have the other arm weapon made from whatever you want.

Dwarf Flesh highlighted with Elf Flesh. Easy, looks good, and your troops don't appear jaundiced (which is my biggest crit of Bronzed Flesh, sorry).

The bottoms of disposable metal pie tins is great:

They are thick but flexible, cheap, easily available, and they paint very well.  :agree:

Having painted up (lots) of beastmen for my old SM2 IG army, I can give you some advice here I think! Firstly, I'd do the base on that test model. I know it sounds dumb, but because the scheme is quite dark, you can't tell if the models have enough contrast or not until you see them againt the finis...

Excellent trades with Mephiston (thanks for those sprues!) and Otterman (previous owner of one fine orbital descent vehicle in ivory white).

Top class folks to deal with, and highly recommended for trades!  8v)

Wow, they look great! I don't see many Saim-Hann Epic armies. My suggestion for the Fire Prism is to look at the Cities Of Death stuff; there are simply loads of little parts on those that would make for great Fire Prism crystals. You can see something I thought would be useful here in the lower rig...

They are Big Shoota boyz, and in E40k were mounted 5 to a stand and carried heavy weapons (like Lootas in 40k), but they have still lots of uses now even though they're not in lists any more; here's a few off the top of my head: > If you do clan themes, adding one to a Boyz stand makes them good for...

Yeah, likewise; any mods folks might have or know of, do please post them up! Personally, I never tried any for this game (as I never found any that were released).

Quick update:

I've accepted Carrington's offer, but am still open to a few more infantry models if any more are offered (Hormagaunts and TWs especially!).

I'm also still looking for Malefactors and Haruspex (3 to 6 of each).
