I have gone into transparent bases myself by accident, when trying to find the cheapest material to make some, and i am gravitating more and more towards them. They look cool, they integrate a lot better with anything else, i save time on painting, and even GI/SM tanks on bases do not look that much...

Yeah, exactly as IJW Wartrader says. A bit tangent of that, but i have been wondering for a long time why basing vehicles is something recent and why it has been increasing with the time. Could it be related that we got influenced by the official magazines where it was not based and now as the years...

Turbo-Laser and two missiles. It is a 45cm AT Bomber. About the other, as you have guessed from me wanting to use those two or the Wyvern for Thunderhawks, i prefer size to a scale number, so FW ones are too big. thanks for telling, anyways. If going to buy Epic ones, i would be more interested on m...

image_2021_05_06T17_28_24_617Z.png Interesting. These two could make a interesting Thunderhawk Close Air Support for Scions of Iron apart from for AI2. Why not just use the actual TBrick to base it off? Just need big bombs underneath. Got those already modeled if you need some (DM) That would be th...

In our case we rarely get into any discussion about that, maybe one small per several games, and we never needed a laser, but i think that has to do more with using area terrain, with infinite height or with the method of using the highest element on the area terrain for measuring its height. That's...

Now to see how much other AI2 units tend to cost and pray to not get cold sweat in the process. ;D If not we still have Vanguard's Wyvern for that ...

Interesting guys and good painting to fit them. https://i.imgur.com/de2jlAw.jpg?1 Digging up this post to the surface and in a bit of off-topic, could you tell me from where this model comes? I have read several versions, about it being metal or resin, being first edition previous to all or being fr...

Based on what i have seen on the net i would say that around one third or fourth of the people base their vehicles. In the club i play usually with we only have bases on vehicles that really need it due to fragility (FW or 3d printed), for stability (some Walkers and Skimmers, even though i personal...

The list looks interesting. It is not the most common so is a nice theme and will provide fun games. Would be interested to see something like this played by a very good player and see how it would go. I might not be told, "not enough activations" (who am I kidding, I'm sure I will be). We...

On first edition it was Warlord class. You can see him on a few parts of the box and rulebook. Any heavily armed Warlord should fit this guy well.

Good for the Impalers :) This is exciting! I've been eyeing your Stygian miniatures for a while now but a lot of the inventory is out of stock. How long until you're up and running 100% again? I'm focusing on any tank+ sized models currently out of print which includes a few Stygian units so it won'...

I think there are some crossed wires here, when RUGII states It makes me sad a Spacecraft can't use the re-roll if the SC is on board I read that as on board the space craft not on the gaming board as he had a great eldar tactic of planet falling 2 or 3 loaded vampires from a spaceraft and triple r...

any special abilities that affect the formation’s action or rally test (farsight, supreme commander, etc.) may be used, but only on the unit’s formation When the spaceship activates, the supreme commander is not part of their formation. When an aircraft activates, the supreme command is part of the...

Can't they? WE always played that the problem when being off-board was with the formation that uses the ability, not the others, so Aircraft, Spacecraft, Tunnellers and Teleporters and any other similar ability could benefit from abilities like SC or Farsight triple retain as long as there wasn't a...
