I've been basing my next army on Litko's bases, 20x40s to be exact. I bought the 0.8mm and the magnetic base bottoms.  I taped 10-20 0.8mm bases together and then drilled some 1/4" holes through them.  I then stuck them to the magnetic and put the miniatures through the holes. The end resu...

HA!

I just hope no one takes the idea to heart and makes a conversion out of it.  I'd hate to see someone get thrown out of a tournament on my account :p

In talking with some independent store owners the hobby industry on a whole is on a rather down swing.  There's no really big "Mommy I gotta have it!" items out there now. The LotR bubble has popped, the CMG market isn't there anymore as there's plenty of singles to be had uncollectively on eBa...

This is the way I've always played it.  It's mostly from the book with a few experimental/house rules in there. Shooting: As per the book, front to back.  TK hits must be applied to WEs if there are some in the formation. Assault: CC MW hits get allocated first, followed by regular CC. &nb...

That is, in fact, a very heavy mortar EC.  Nice job.

Have you thought of mounting those Griffon mortars on Ork big gun wheel bases?  I've been trying to picture what they look like but unfortunately don't have any of the Ork parts at the movement.

So there's been a lot of serious talk lately, how about a little fun? What's the best/cheapest auction/deal you ever landed on miniatures? I just landed this one for $26.80! Nothing was really show in the picture and the description was just a summary of parts with number concrete numbers, that's wh...
