Hey, great. Have you tested it yet at all? When it has been given a couple of games, send it over to me and I will see if I can put it on the site. Meanwhile, I would like to see it in its current form.

I am sure that there will be one... but I have not heard about it yet (still, that is not unusual, I am usually the last person to know about this kind of thing!). I would expect there to be a few more Escorts (at least) before we see a Battleship for the Dark Eldar. Additionally, I think that Fanat...

Sounds good. It was out at about the same time as Space Hulk first edition. I have the first edition somewhere, with a proper pitch. I dont think that the rules have changed a lot since then with further editions. Generally, it is a great game, and I like it a lot. I have a half painted Ork team all...

I have not played it either, although I do own a number of the ships. As far as I know, it is a little more fleet orientated, dealing with grander movement (while Gothic is more of a skirmish game). That is all that I know, I will try to pick up the basic rules when I can, they have on my shopping l...

Quote (RobertBMartin @ 24 2003 Jan.,14:48)Unfortunately, I don't have books on me, but I believe its in one of the FAQ/Questions & Answers articles reprinted in the 2002 annual. ?But I'm certain it is accurate. I really should learn to check my own site before sitting down to type!   http://www...

I almost forgot... I was thinking about exactly which ships should be included in the guide. Included: Blue Book, Warp Storm, Annual(s) Not included: Very unofficial ships Not sure: Ships which were not in the Annual, but were in Gothic magazine. What about: two extra categories, one for own ships (...

Right, never one to let apathy get in the way of an idea, I have decided to simply pick up this idea and run with it. So, the point of this is that I am going to go ahead with the Spotters Guide to Gothic, the series of articles focussing on individual vessels. So, I will get this going as soon as I...

Since ramming ships continue their move after ramming.

Is that right? I cant remember the exact conversation that we had, but I seem to remember thinking that the ramming vessel stops at the point of the ram. Anyone got a page reference for this? Thanks.

Well, they represent quite a mix. Each has a different head, and this mostly dictates the vessel. The four types are lances (for Orks!!!), torpedoes, weapons and a bombardment cannon. You can then fit three pallets on each side - gunz, heavy gunz, launch bays or improved engines. Points range from 2...

For those of you who have Gothic Mag 13, I am puzzled by the Huud, on page 14. Aside from the fact that it really should be a BattleCruiser, and not a BattleShip, it seems a little too powerful to me. It has 25cm speed, which is very fast for an Imperial vessel. Sure, only 8 damage points, but with ...

Yes, hi mate. Something that struck me was the complete change in effectiveness of the Kroozers depending on the distance. At only 30cm, I struggled just to take down the shields of the Battleship. At about 10cm they were a lot more effective! Much nicer.

OK, I actually got down to playing a game last weekend (battle report as soon as I can, so about four months!) Something came up that I thought that I would ask about. I was playing Orks (makes a change) and I decided to ram a squadron of Brutes into an Imperial Battleship. But what happens? The bas...

I dont think that it will be for a while. I would not expect them before Summer of this year. As far as I know, the ships are being done my sculptures almost in their own time, so there may be a delay.
