Noticed there's plenty of FoW base love in the epic community but no good pics / threads specific to showing how that sizes up for current EA figures. Someone over at Specialist Games asked for pics so I figure I'd double post them here for community benefit and perhaps someone teetering on the edge... |

Yeah a great archive. I wish someone with copies of the printed fanatic would scan those however as there's not parity on the old fanatic online content with the dead tree version. |

I like it! ^-^ (we need a thumbs up emoticon here btw) While you're at it might as well add the ubiquitous "Normandy Beach Landing" Invasion and the siege scenarios. White Dwarf 144 had a ton of good stuff in an article called Epic Assault! for building generic siege scenarios. Perhaps wi... |

I assume you mean the vehicles not the infantry, which makes me sad as those look just as superb. |

Apart from the equipment found within a typical Astartes armoury the Raptors are known to make extensive use of scouts and also keep a sizeable contingent of all Land Speeder variants should have some reflection on this fluff in the list. Cheaper or larger scout formations and wide range and flexib... |

Huge walking robots can work specifically because they're huge and walking. Though I think Warlords and Reavers might be excessive. Ha! Love it. Might be an A/B option? You can take the biggies but then you lack more flexibility on airpower/artillery? OTOH that might just make this vanilla Astartes... |

Going to reverse my feeling on airpower. Remove titan support and replace with mad airpower. If you can't have a giant tank, a huge walking robot doesn't fit either. Thinking of SK's "frightening" comment and made me rethink this. It's full of flavor (it's unique among astartes IIRC) and m... |

I think some focus would be a good thing here Agreed. This is everything and the kitchen sink list atm. Focus on the special forces ambush storyline. That ambush rule is pure triple good platinum. Build up from there. For inspiration I'd go read up on some of the actions "The Men in Green Face... |
