Very nice. Thanks for the description of your technique - it is giving super-effective results here. Makes painting white a whole lot less daunting.

The titan legion is pretty sweet. Love to see the old school Chaos look is still going strong.

After a couple of months with distractions, I've got the paint out again. I bought a trio of abused Warlords from eBay a while back, and have made attempts to nurture them back to health. In hindsight this one could've done with stripping off the paint that was on it, as some of the detail has been ...

Raising the bar of tyranid modelling once again. My favourite part is the carpet of termagants.

That's right: Army Painter Plate Metal spray, with Tamiya Clear Blue and Green in a 75:25 mix, and then a Guilliman Blue glaze. I did a 54mm Alpha Legionnaire that had the same scheme; maybe you saw it doing the rounds and got the scheme info from that on another forum?

Thanks everyone. I've had a bit of run at quite a lot of the army over the last couple of weeks. Here are two tactical detachments, Contemptor dreadnoughts and Land Raiders. I have a couple of Thunderhawks (thunderbricks) to add along with the titans. http://i.imgur.com/b4I18O3.jpg http://i.imgur.co...

Time to get back into some sort of regular routine with 6mm painting. The last couple of years haven't seen much on the small scale front, except for when EpiComp rolls around and inspires me to actually get something completed. The release of Horizon Wars has got me very excited about 6mm again, an...

They are just superb conversions. They look far better than the old Lord of Battle. Looking forward to seeing them painted.

Super stuff. I like what you did with the gunwagonz and beasts to give you some battlewagons.

The sentinels are really striking too.

Wow, this whole thread is full of incredible stuff. Of the most recent update, I like the Necrons the best. Purple is not a colour I've seen them in a whole lot often. It works really well.

Wow - those bases look fantastic. I'm sure once things are painted they will come to life even more and unify the army perfectly.

The Redemptionists look like they're coming along nicely too.

Great basing there Apocolocyntosis. Really making me think twice about my own low end efforts. I might try trimming some model railway lichen up into tiny bushes as I have loads of that lying around.

Great looking stuff. I've just ordered some DRM flyers to represent some Chaos flyers. I see you have gone down the same route.
