it might just be the lighting, but it looks like the backside of the 'peak' of the helm is hollowed out. If that's the case, then the mold is going to have to cast a very thin 'film' of pewter. That seems pretty prone to either miscasting or breakage to me. If it's solid and I'm just crazy, then dis... |

I think the concave back of the helmet isn't a good idea, personally. Seems very likely to contribute to casting errors. |

Is there a way we could get stickied a compilation of the various steps to take in turning a 3D model into the desired end product, along with a list of various service providers? Suggested bronzers and the like would be a useful thing to store. |

Judging by the scale in the picture, it may actually be pretty huge. Depending on the mat, it may be around 2" long. A bit too big for a Stormraven. :/ |
