Getting within aa range and arc of the target during an intercept well expose you to aa fire before commencing your own attack. Yes, intercepted orks possibly get to shoot first if you decide to move within 15cm. It will only hit on 6+ though and only really applicable to Tbolts (that go all in) and... |

Ok, thanks. Looks like there is little incentive to go for Gorkanaut then.. |

In a further thought with regard to Flash Gitz being Nobz I guess it would be fair to use the same leader rule that apply to Mega Nobz formations.. |

All of the above makes sense to me. I would use play it like that.
Gonna give the list a whirl in the next game. Just obtained some nice MegaNobz that I need to paint up |

The Decimator has IC and MW but no disrupt as writte in Armigers post.
When evaluating synergies or stand alone qualities cc factor should be considered as well. Stormsword as worse than Decimator in that regard |

Decimator has no disrupt The cc 4+ is an additional thing. Range, IC and MW are key properties to be effective even on double. 30cm range and disrupt on a 15cm unit is rubbish imo. Sorry. The output will be by magnitudes lower than that of a Decimator. Only buff is additional units in the formation,... |

The Decimator is hillariously powerful for its price. Fearless, strategy 4, ini 1, 45cm 3pb IC MW will scare the shit out of any bunkered up or armoured formation. It even can look after itself in cc as a 4+cc rating. For lame 225pts. Must have. For the plague reaper a front fire arc instead of fixe... |

Oh, and after another check: is there a reason why the normal warband is missing the oddboy upgrade? While I agree that they meganobs formation would be too hard with every unit having leader, they are still nobs. So some kind of leader like bonus should apply without having to put the warlord into ... |

Lovely list..
What sits a bit at odds with me is the 400pts for big stompa mob but 6 singles would only be 300. Or a normal mob with 3 extra at 375pts. It's rather strange |

Hell, with that adaptions that list all of a sudden becomes quite flexible in styles and fun which would be a welcome compensation for the missing demons/assault power |

Looking forward to the draft. The easiest way would be to adopt the UK list which is a working thing and adress the minor issues in points and synergy logic that would transform IW from the weakest chaos list to a more competitive one. As mentioned reducing defilers formation size and the pts of the... |

I agree. It is not so much critique in itself as more or less condensed input from 2 month of hard discussion, preparation and playing world championship with IW and exchanging with top players about it. Again, I used the UK list. For starters the pricing could be reconsidered. I hassle a bit with y... |

I'd like to know the reason behind the UKs Basilisk pricing, at 275 they seem way better than Whirlwinds. The pricing compared to whirlwinds is due to 4 reasons. 1. the mentioned missing ATSKNF. They break easily and if they do they get wiped easily. No coming back. SM are so rediciusly sturdy when... |

Hi guys, I attended the world championship in Glasgow using IW with UK list and rules. Upfront our team debated the list and build frantically into detail. We were paired badly in the group stages vs the top teams and best players out there. England, Scotland, Sweden Especially as I wanted to field ... |
