Thanks for your ideas mates, these are highly appreciated! Will have a closer look at the models. The idea with the 1/72 fighter model rocket is not bad, too. Perhaps scratch build a carrier vehicle from an old Basilisk chassis with a ramp on top and then the model rocket could look great. The GHQ S...

Hi folks, not sure if this is the correct forum cathegory, but I need advise for a good Deathstrike Missile Launcher Proxy. I already have 2 of them in my regular IG army. My newest project is building up a Siegemaster army and I want another mini in it than the regular one, perhaps a bit more bulky...

I am very interested.
I would take 100 Necron-style Proxies if the price is fair.

Great pics! Thanks for sharing with us.

Does anybody have the new DRM terrain and could post the dimensions?
Or perhaps a size comparison pic with the DRM terrain next to some GW minis?

That would be great!

Thanks for the report and the great pics.
Haven't seen your photobucket account before and I am very glad to see some new pictures ..

I don't like the BM teleporting advantage nids have, too.
I'd wish they would check for teleports too and get a disadvantage of whatever kind that is.

Great army!
Aren't you afraid of damaging your minis when transporting it?

The base however is scratchbuild from plasticard/styrofoam and small cut wire netting as fences. Glad you like them :)

I really like the spawning idea in the endphase and additionally using dedicated actions. One other thing that doesn't feel right imo is the use of mycetic spores. Atm they are cheap additional spawn points that can be used on different swarms until you have used all of them. I'd tend to assign them...

I really like this discussion, so please keep it coming!! In my oppinion as stated before, the nids have their disadvantages as every army has. But the advantages they gain from Unstoppable imho isn't weight off by all their disadvantages. Wouldn't it make sense to compare the statistics how the nid...

Hena, sorry I mixed that up! Sure I meant the normal -1 modifier on initiative for having BMs. Should re-read my posts more thoroughly. I don't have specific suggestions on how to downgrade Nids. I have thought about that alot but can't think of a good solution. I'd tend to make the nid units a bit ...

Although being a Nid-player myself, I too have the impression that the nids are a bit too powerful. I like the idea of 'unstoppable' but never receiving blast markers is very, if not too tough. As Stone-Foxx already mentioned: tyras can never be broken, are always better in assaults, don't receive -...
