That's what I figured (putty is masilla is Spanish, which surprised me but seemed to make sense). Anyway, that's a super idea; I always figured normal ready-mixed plaster / spackle / polyfilla would potentially chip / crack / flake off metal washers. But that wood filler is rather more adhesive and ...

My Danish is non-existent, but I'm guessing "Spartelmassen" is applying filler with a spatula? So I therefore assume you use ordinary pre-mixed plaster filler? Looks very good, either way! :)

I think it might help if you could define what style you're after exactly? Is it just a general 'Spikey' undivided theme you want?

Stupid question to ask at this stage perhaps, but would it be worth doing little WE decals? SM shoulder pads are quite accessible and you do have a lot to do for the army... But they would be small though, so I don't know if the small decal is a worthwhile trade-off against the small freehand! Nice ...

Feel free to copy! (I'll be lifting your hazard stripes to some extent for my Mole Mortars because I liked them that much!) The main reason I went two-tone was that I didn't think emphasising the size of the main guns was a good idea - they dominate the model enough as it is! I also added little dis...

I did some brown/amber-coloured for my little Croc Ships (Uncharted Seas Orc Fleet). Very simple to do: Paint the windows in a gem-style using a dark beige and highlighting up to a warm ivory. Then, a *very* thin wash or two of yellow ink, followed by the sharpest highlights in pure white. Looked qu...

Very nice models, but regarding taking pictures, I think this will help:

Make a cheap lightbox.

I think I need to make one too, as I have similar circumstances to yourself and often have the same photography issues...

Goffs' Stoma would have big CC weapons. Any guns would be shoulder-mounted (so that they don't get in the way of choppin'), and any guns would also be more likely to be short-ranged big-bore things. CC weapons would be anything smashy or choppy or rippy. The Stompa head could have horns too. Snakebi...

Actually, This has nothing to do with demi as half. half-ling would rather evoke hobbits anyway, and indeed it is GW sanctioned word for creature similar to JRR hobbits. Demiurg is the Old Greek word for "creator", and is usually used as a reference to the creating principle/god/all-fathe...

I always saw the Demiurg as a "re-imagining" of the Squats... Their separation from the Squats is only because the Squats had already existed in 40k previously. But even their name makes it obvious what they are intended to be - Demi = half, so that the Demiurg's name refers to their physi...

Well, based on your advice, I've bought 'Titanicus' and 'Storm Of Iron' :). While I'm on the subject of Legio Ignatum, I suppose I should really ask about their long time enemies: Legio Mortis. I know Onyx did his version of them (including Dies Irae), and that there are some examples in Adeptus Tit...

I don't really like green either - too GW "Red Period" for my tastes. You could try a black highlighted with a little teal? It gives it a different colour that just plain black/grey, but doesn't stand out too much from the scheme. I like P3 Coal Black for this sort of work, but a 50:50 Haw...
