Some suggestions if I may: 1: B&Q sell 2'x4' MDF boards pre-cut. I use 9mm thick and they run at £5.50 each. You can get thicker and thinner MDF with corresponding price increase/decrease. Using three 2'x4' boards will give you more layout options too (for example, if you have a desert board, swa...

Great trade with Karegak; a very helpful and patient person who really helped me out. I'd be very happy to recommend him for a trade.  :agree:

IIRC correctly the Germans refer to this type of camo as "FleckenFarbe"  ...  :;):

I always thought it was "Flecktarn", (or "Speckled Camouflage" in English)?

Either way, a good technique for Epic!  :agree:

Sounds perfectly agreeable to me . As I say, I'm sure I have some Rangers, but I'm not 100% sure what condition they are in. If they are assembled/painted I'll throw in a few more if I can to compensate you. If I have any doubts about their condition, I'll post a pic first for you to see; I don't wa...

Cool, thanks for your reply!

Eldar Ranger bases? I think I might have a few knocking about - unpainted and possibly unassembled too. I'll check when I get home.

What country are you in? I'm in the UK (Birmingham).

Good rule of thumb is £12 for four sprues; so that'd be £60 for the whole box you've pictured (or $90US current exchange rate). That is GW's pricing for their current plastic sprue stuff, and EBay isn't a million miles off that. Of course, SMs, Orks and Eldar are fairly common, old IG, old Cha...

Sorry to bump this, but I'd really appreciate it if anyone has a spare Revenant wing as pictured that they'd be willing to let go could drop me a PM! I am always a prompt payer, and I'd consider any reasonable asking prices.

Thanks again  :agree:

Yeah, I think the purple looks better than the green, but I also agree that Warlock looks too close to red (in fact, I build my reds up from it usually!) I reckon Liche will work better still and give you the contrast you want. Another idea might be to try a mid-brown like Bestial, and shade with Ba...

Honestly? I think they look a little 'festive' with those colours... I think if you used Liche purple instead of the green, you'd have a better scheme (plus, they're colours that cover fairly well).

The dip looks good to me though, and yes, usually one uses a tinted woodstain/varnish.

> Cadian Shock Troops =/= Assault troops IMHO. They do get a lot of Stormtroopers and Kasrkin (i.e. Grenadiers), though no old-style Assault Troops. I'd probably add an extra formation of 5 stormtrooper-esque stands to a standard Company card (to represent the Grenadiers/Kasrkin) and keep all other ...

Lol, I'd be tempted to (I got into wargaming all those years ago on the back of Epic SM2!), but I sadly have *way* too many projects already... Although I'd still be happy to pitch in with the odd idea if it was needed.   If you're curious to see some Epic Vossies though, you might like to insp...
