@ Otterman: Yes, the Thudd Guns will be based on Spudd Guns! :) I am going to give them treads and each trailer will have little tracks. I love the current design (especially for the IG), but I wanted something just a smidge more high-tech for the Squats - I'm tying them a bit more to their Ad-Mech ...

Stoopid brain. I can't make it stop thinking of things to do (except by assaulting it with liquor and woman). Todays torment - cables. Most people know that steel guitar strings make great miniature cables. They also know that steel guitar strings are really stiff and hard. Fewer people know that D...

Thanks guys, I knew I could count on you! :D I don't mind the sculpt actually, and I don't even mind the 'evil red' paintjob in principle, but I don't think that specific paintjob helps it much, and I don't think the tail does much for it either. I did like the screaming faces in the armour and the ...

I seem to remember a while back that towards the end of E40k, there was a last-minute push of some Chaos models (the current plastic sprue, some Rhinos, Preds and Land Raiders), and that along with them were some previews of up-and coming models too. I seem to remember that one of those was a Chaos ...

Well, I'm glad to see that I'm not alone in my hatred of mouldlines! I often get concerned (but loving) looks from my GF after I've spent several hours hunched over the tiddlers with a file and a sharp scalpel. :P As far as complaining about those sorts of casts or misaligned sprues, I usually do TB...

Wow, that really is a gorgeous army (especially the Titans)! But I honestly don't get why you're selling it? I'm sure you could sell off the unpainted stuff on Ebay in smaller lots and easily make the money you need for that Dust Tactics Collectors' Game, and still keep the painted core of your army...

I'd also like to suggest some of the old Zoid toys as well - many came with suitable tails that you could use and are usually very cheap on Ebay.

Funnily enough, I've been trying to think of a suitable (and numerous) model to plunder for a hand weapon for my Veteran Berserkers - and I'd not considered the Kommandos. And, what's even better is that I can put the removed bolt weapon from the Berserker back onto the donor Kommando to make Komman...

1) Look at the titans in "Stuff of Legends" here - those plus the 'Orky' style E40k ones plus what's currently sold by SG are all the Titans released. 2) Sort of. All the old Titans were designed to fit on bases with little numbered wheels in them like the old plastic Warlords (even though...

I have a friend who might be interested in the Warlock Titan... PM sent!

//EDIT//

Apologies, I got carried away and failed to realise this wasn't frogbear's thread! :-[

If you don't want the Warlock, I will deal with frogbear separately afterwards.

Again, my apologies!

If nobody has any to sell/trade you, I might be able to bid on them for you and then send them out to you if you'd like? I'm in the UK and don't mind helping a fellow Tac Commer out! ;)

You might want to relist the thread properly here - otherwise, one needs to be registered to view that section of the boards (I mean, WTF? No posting as a Guest I get, but no viewing either? Lame!)

I would also like to add that for me the low model-count, character and story-driven elements and the affordability are the biggest draws to the game. But while I do very much enjoy the game, but I have to say I agree with this: Personally I wouldn't want to play in a tournament setting. A weekend c...
