I actually managed to buy a copy off ebay at a reasonable price. Perhaps most are not as fond of the old-style aestethic of Codex T., but to me that was the definitive epic era.

Hmm, I suspected that. That is one book I dont have, but really "need". And its quite unavailable on ebay too, sadly... As I only paint nowadays, but never really play any epic (boardgames though) Im more interested in the old WDs/rulebooks as inspiration for painting than anything else. O...

Hello! I seem to remember having seen a description of eldar titan banners somewhere, WD or some old rule book or something. I cant seem to find it in my own collection. What Im looking for is how to paint those banners that have a sort of native american totem style image with symbols representing ...

Well I did manage to cut out one of the smallest symbols out and glued it to the side door of a rhino. It was quite fiddly, as the small symbols have to be sliced like cheese from the sheet. Using the symbols as they are meant (for 40K) the are so thick they look wrong on an epic scale vehicle. But ...

The Titan looks promising, nice work on the beastmen also. Im thinking about using mine as regular infantry too (in EA), even though it seems strange as they basically have only close combat weapons. But the minis are too cool to be left out!

Excellent! I have a few similarly painted beakies myself - but I never got around to painting the shoulder emblems on them. Your free hand painting skills are truly impressive (I know how difficult this is, especially getting them to look so consistently good!).

Well, I kind of like them shiny... My painting style is definitely old-school. Maybe Ill try a few things in future, among other things Im planning a Sisters of Battle army. But I wouldnt be surprised if Ill go for an old school style even with the newer minis...

I guess Ill have to try them - rather expensive, but compared to what a SoB force will cost in total, its a minor thing...
