I found SLA printers required some mental rewiring after becoming accustomed to deposition printers w/ support matieral. Never thought about it. But now that you mention it, no there's no rethinking. There are thinks I wouldn't try to achieve with FDM printers or for that matter my SLA printer. The...

As you took the chance to ask this question, you are entitled to a draw from the "chance deck" -
and you just drew:

"Go directly to Jail – do not pass Go, do not collect $200"

Uuupps, bad luck

:)

I thought about doing a knightly Thunderbolt. But the more I thought about it the more desperate I got. The ForgeWorld Thunderbolt is such a brilliant model that whatever I came up with looked very amateurish or at least unsophisticated. So I stopped and started doodling just for fun. But not with p...

Back from holiday. When I started on the tractor, I wanted to build something around the tracks of the Howitzers. For one it binds the models, makes the part of the same army and on the other hand it saves time. But what I got just looked like a Bren carrier. But I don't know anybody called Bren and...

I find Minigeddon games rather tricky for introductional games. If you do not have initiative 1, you might have turns without passing an activation roll. Everything you do and every loss has more far reaching consequences and often enough a game is over in turn 2. I also miss the sweeping movements ...

The redone howitzers. Not much to say about them. I gave them tracks instead of wheels to make them look more heavy and unwieldy. There are some new crew poses, but nothing exiting. As always an afterthought: Should have painted the tracks with some dirt on it. http://brumbaer.de/Howi001.jpg But beh...

Plombendraht (literal translation seal wire, is used in combination with a lead seal or such) is available in diameter of a quarter of a millimetre. It looks very "barb wirely", because the wire isn't smooth, but bumpy. Some seem to be two wires drilled a bit like a rope, others have a wir...

The project is drawing to an end. Did some Warden. Thought hard about it, but didn't find any reason why the shouldn't look like the other heavies. I designed only Missile Wardens. They seem the most useful at the moment. I'll probably come back to the others later once I gained deeper insight. http...

B9 Creator V 1.2

No mods. A bit of adjusting, though.

I use a Raspberry Pi with custom software instead of a PC to control it, but that is only workflow related no influence on quality.

Those boxes come in to flavours. As display boxes for watches and for jewlery. They are available from Amazon and others in a multitude of sizes. The jewelry boxes have a lower profile. Both kinds usually have some inlet that you will have to remove. I glue a metal sheet to the floor of the box and ...
